Designed for students aged between 16-18 years with a passion for hospitality, the two-week holiday course offers an insight into the world of luxury hospitality and provides a taste of what Glion students learn on their undergraduate business degree.
Topics covered include restaurant concept and design, food preparation and planning, and event management - from planning to implementation. Combining theory with practice, the Academy experience also includes field trips to world-renowned hospitality companies, including a professional visit to a five-star star London establishment.
At the end of the course, students will host and organize an on-campus event to put their newfound skills to the test. More than 50 representatives from the hospitality industry, including highly reputed brands such as Mandarin Oriental, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Marriott and Hyatt, visit Glion to recruit from its graduating class.
Classes will take place on the campus of the University of Roehampton, where Glion London – which opened last August - is located. For more information on the Glion Institute, visit www.glion.edu.
