Barry Callebaut is the largest chocolate manufacturer in the world

Involved in chocolate for more than 150 years, well-established Belgian brand Callebaut and French brand Cacao Barry joined forces in 1996 to create a new company, Barry Callebaut.

It is the most popular branded fine chocolate in the gourmet professional market and the largest chocolate manufacturer in the world from cocoa bean to finished product on the shelves.

With a turnover in the region of 3.6bn for fiscal year 2009/10, Barry Callebaut is known internationally for providing reliability and consistency as well as delicious and subtle tastes associated with premium chocolate.

Its three leading brands – Callebaut, Cacao Barry and Carma (the Swiss brand it acquired in 1999) – meet the most exacting requirements of bakers,chocolatiers and patissiers.

Barry Callebaut operates about 40 production facilities in 25 countries and is committed to growing at least twice as fast as the global chocolate market.

Barry Callebaut provides effective training in chocolate academies to broaden working skills inchocolate and learn about new trends,techniques and recipes and marketing supportto strengthen its partnership with customers.
