Michael Kay has been appointed as the new leisure manager at North West hotel group.

Kay, whose previous experience includes a general manager position at the company's English Lakes Hotels Resorts & Venues, is delighted to be back with the group.

“It’s a pleasure to re-join the team at English Lakes and to be placed at the helm of the current and future development of the group’s leisure activities,” he said.

“It’s an exciting time, not only as we move through a new phase for Low Wood Bay, but also as we continue to consider and develop exciting opportunities across the whole portfolio of our venues."

English Lakes Hotels Resorts & Venues managing director, Simon Berry, said: “We are really pleased to see Michael returning to the group and look forward to him playing a key role in developing our leisure offering.
