Stephen Alden is now chief executive officer of the Set Hotel Group, the company behind the 160-bedroom Café Royal hotel in London. He now joins former Claridge’s general manager Thomas Kochs, who became managing director in February this year. Alden was previously at Maybourne Hotels. Within his newly-created role, Alden is set to work on the group’s brand strategy and expansion plans.
