The Royal Hotel in Southend has announced Howard Webb as its new head chef. Webb has already created a new menu, focusing on using fresh ingredients, plus a new menu for the coming Christmas season. He was previously head chef at The Roslin Beach Hotel, and at the Toulouse restaurant - also in Southend.
